Through its neighborhood services centers and special projects, MCAEOC provides a community-based system of service provision to and advocacy for the poor to meet their needs and to enhance the quality of their lives, regardless of race, religion, sex, age, handicap or national origin. MCAEOC provides some services directly and refers people to other available services. Some of MCAEOC’s activities focus on meeting the immediate and basic needs of the poor (e.g.., food and shelter); other activities facilitate long term effects (e.g., education and employment).
MCAEOC is a leader in collaborative programming and in operating programs involving evaluations and data collection. The following Programs are a commitment by MCAEOC to provide services to the local community.
