The purpose of the Weatherization Program is to apply energy efficient measures to homes of low income, elderly, and disable people. The procedure used by this program provides energy conservation and helps people by decreasing their utility costs. Some of the measures used include attic insulation, caulking, and replacing broken windows and entry doors, storm windows and energy saving bulbs.
Home Energy Counseling is provided to the clients and includes inexpensive ways they can maximize saving on their energy usage.
