Weatherization Training:
Each year, we help our local community organizations work with state and federal government programs to improve the energy efficiency of low-income households through the Weatherization Assistance Program.

ROMA

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funding is used to support professionals in the local community action agencies (CAAs) who design and then implement programs and projects to lessen poverty by meeting needs identified by their community leadership. While some CSBG funding is also used for direct assistance to program participants, the primary purpose of this funding is for integrated, ‘one-stop’ interventions to reduce poverty and make people more self-sufficient.

The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds the anti-poverty Community Action Agencies and family self-sufficiency efforts. Our organizations utilize a network of community agencies to get this job done. These organizations create, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive programs and services to many people living in poverty here in Mississippi County.
